The Setjhaba Sotlhe National Business Forum (SNBF) continues to invest in the future of young people in Orange Farm through programmes designed to equip them with practical skills, create employment opportunities and steer them away from social challenges such as drug abuse.
The organisation is currently running computer skills training at the AMSAI Centre, where young people are gaining valuable digital skills to improve their employability and prepare for the modern workplace.
Beyond digital training, SNBF also supports youth entrepreneurs by helping them develop their businesses while connecting job seekers with employment opportunities through its various initiatives.
SNBF Media Personnel Duze Ntombizovuyo said the organisation believes that empowering young people with skills and opportunities is one of the most effective ways to build stronger communities.
“At SNBF, we want to see our youth doing something meaningful with their lives instead of turning to drugs. That is why we continue to introduce programmes that empower them with practical skills and opportunities. We are currently providing computer skills training at the AMSAI Centre, and we remain committed to helping young people access employment opportunities and support those who want to start or grow their own businesses. Our goal is to inspire hope and equip the youth with the tools they need to build a better future,” said Duze.
The organisation says it remains committed to expanding its youth development initiatives and working with partners to ensure more young people can access training, employment opportunities and entrepreneurial support. Through its ongoing programmes, SNBF hopes to empower the next generation with the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to become active contributors to the local economy while creating a brighter future for themselves and their communities
