This past weekend, the PLPDL Community Football League’s second leg returned with a bang, as teams eagerly battled for points.
At Solwazi Grounds in Drieziek 5, Positive Living People FC faced Mighty Paradise FC. In the U13 match, PLP FC secured a 3-0 victory and in the U17 match, they triumphed 2-1, winning both matches.
Following these games, Young Tigers FC competed against 7/11 FC. Young Tigers FC dominated, winning the U15 match 3-0 and the U17 match 3-0.
Meanwhile, at Hazulu Ground in Ext 9, Phase 1 Vision 2025 FC defeated Stretford Young Tigers FC (Team B) in the U13 category with an impressive 5-0 scoreline. Dona’s Mates FA played against the hosts, Stretford Young Tigers FC (Team A), resulting in closely contested matches: U11 ended 1-2, U13 ended 2-3, U15 ended 2-1, and U17 ended 3-4 respectively.
The weekend’s matches highlighted the competitive spirit and talent within the league, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.
