Kamohelo Mosikili, known as Dankoww Marn, is using entertainment to do more than organise events – he wants to create space for artists, businesses and young creatives to connect.
Based in Palm Springs, Mosikili is the founder of Mhlaba wama Kgashasha, an entertainment platform built around collaboration, exposure and community-driven events.
As an event organiser, entertainment entrepreneur and creative, he says his focus is on producing memorable experiences while helping local talent gain visibility.
“My vision is to build a strong entertainment brand, create opportunities for local talent and inspire young people to believe in their ideas and turn their visions into reality,” Mosikili said.
Mhlaba wama Kgashasha is positioned as more than an events name. Mosikili wants it to become a platform where creatives can meet potential supporters, businesses can connect with audiences and emerging artists can be seen.
That approach reflects his broader ambition to grow within the entertainment industry while pulling others into the space with him.
Rather than waiting for established platforms to open doors, Mosikili is working on creating his own and using it to bring people together through entertainment.
For the young entrepreneur, success is not only measured by the event itself, but by whether it creates opportunities that continue after the music stops.
