In January, 16-year-old model, Buhle Fanie, from Drieziek 5 was selected as a Gauteng finalist in the Face of Devotion 2023 pageant, she pleads with community members to purchase or donate at least 20 tickets for the final to be held at Ramkiki Lodge in Ruimsig on 29 April.

As a contestant, she is required to sell the tickets to the event as part of the pageant’s fundraising initiative.
She told Orange Farm News: “I would really appreciate it if residents get the tickets for R100 to come to support me. If you cannot manage to get the ticket, you can donate any amount towards the purchase of the tickets which I will give them to anyone who wants to come. This is not only about just competing, but having the strength to be able to give back to the community of Orange Farm.”
Fanie started her modelling journey in 2021on Miss Face of Orange Farm.
