Determination, passion and a love for football continue to drive Future Academy as the club prepares for another season in the Hollywood Regional League, which resumes in October.
The academy enjoyed a successful campaign last season, winning the LFA League before competing in the Hollywood Regional League, where they finished 12th on the standings. While the team continues to make strides on the field, securing sponsorship remains one of its biggest challenges.
Future Academy is led by coaches Bless Fathu and Kgotso Mashugane, with Touch serving as team manager and Maestro as technical manager. Together, the technical team is committed to developing young talent and helping the club compete at a higher level.
Coach Kgotso Mashugane said the club is proud of what it has achieved despite its limited resources.
“We are proud of what the players achieved last season. Winning the LFA League and competing in the Hollywood Regional League proved that we have talented players with great potential. Although sponsorship remains our biggest challenge, we refuse to let it hold us back. We remain committed to developing our players, working hard every day and representing our community with pride. We hope businesses, sponsors and other stakeholders will support the vision we are building and help us create more opportunities for young footballers” said Mashugane.
As preparations continue for the October kick-off, the club is determined to improve on last season’s league finish and build on the momentum of its LFA League triumph.
With committed coaches, dedicated management and ambitious players, Future Academy hopes to secure the support needed to continue growing while creating opportunities for young footballers both on and off the pitch.
