Orange Farm hip-hop artist Sithembiso Mtshali, popularly known as De Ruffjiza, is celebrating the release of his latest single, Zonke Izinto Ziqala Kancane, featuring Maskandi artist Ishinga Leminyaka. Released on 2 June, the song is accompanied by a music video now available on YouTube.
The music video has also marked a local milestone, with De Ruffjiza becoming the first artist to shoot a music video at Orange Farm Spin City, owned by Mr Pule Earm Motloung.
De Ruffjiza began his music journey in 2009, releasing his debut EP Umlayezo, produced by Mafesa Boyzin, Tornado, DJ Kayfonic and Mrizo. His single Iqiniso Ngothando, featuring Mrizo, reached the Top 3 on the Newcastle charts. In 2014, he released the mixtape Impilo Yabo-Mrapper with D-SECTION GANG, earning interviews on Newcastle FM, YFM and Inanda FM.
He has since released his solo album Umthandazo in 2023 and, together with D-SECTION GANG, released Imijuluko Yamadoda in 2025. His music is available on all major digital streaming platforms.

“My music is a way of telling my story and speaking to the youth of South Africa. I want people to know that every success starts small, just like the title of my new single says. My daughters, Thandolwethu and Qhawekazi, inspire me every day to keep pushing and never give up,” said De Ruffjiza.
Over the years, De Ruffjiza has performed at events in Johannesburg, Newcastle, Durban and Orange Farm, including Skhandafest Festival, Soweto Music Festivals, Underground Pub and several community music events.
