Every young person deserves the opportunity to be celebrated for their abilities, build confidence and feel proud of who they are. The Mr & Miss Ability 2026 aims to do exactly that by providing a platform for young people living with disabilities to showcase their talents, express themselves and shine.
More than just a pageant, the event is a celebration of courage, individuality and potential. It offers participants the chance to grow in self-confidence, form meaningful friendships and create lasting memories alongside their families, peers and the wider community.
The Orange Farm Arekopaneng Centre will host the event on 31 July 2026 and is appealing to community members, businesses and organisations to help make the day truly special for every participant.
The organisers are seeking donations of prizes, refreshments, décor, gift packs, clothing accessories, printing services and financial contributions. Every donation, regardless of its size, will help create a memorable and rewarding experience for the young participants.
Community support plays an important role in ensuring that every contestant feels valued, celebrated and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Those who would like to contribute or partner with the event are encouraged to contact the Orange Farm Arekopaneng Centre by emailing bridgetm@afrikatikkun.org.
Together, the community can help make Mr & Miss Ability 2026 a celebration of inclusion, confidence and the incredible abilities of Orange Farm’s young people.
