Founded on September 28, 2025, All in One Disciplinary Dance Academy is using dance as a tool to shape and guide young girls in Orange Farm through discipline, respect, and order.
The Academy was founded by choreographer, dance teacher, and facilitator Slindile Providence Sithela from Orange Farm Ext 4, who is also the founder of the Isdwadlo Sabo Kleva clothing brand.
Sithela said his inspiration came from travelling to different townships and countries, where he noticed a lack of female Pantsula dancers.
“As someone who has travelled and experienced different dance spaces, I realised that we hardly see young girls doing hardcore Pantsula footwork. That inspired me to start teaching girls and help put them in the picture,” said Sithela.
The academy currently trains children from the age of seven and focuses mainly on Pantsula, one of South Africa’s most energetic and demanding dance styles.

Sithela explained that teaching Pantsula to young girls comes with challenges, especially because many young people are more interested in modern dance trends such as Amapiano.
“Pantsula is not easy. It needs energy, discipline, understanding, and strong footwork. Many children prefer trendy dances, so introducing the Pantsula system and culture is difficult at times,” he said.
He also said he often faces criticism from some community members because he teaches girls a dance style traditionally dominated by men.
Despite the challenges, Sithela remains committed to building a positive environment for children through dance.
“My main focus is respect, discipline, and order. I believe we are lacking that foundation in South Africa and even around the world. There is no school that truly teaches respect, so I use dance to teach children how to behave and respect others,” Sithela added.
Looking ahead, Sithela hopes to expand the academy by hosting workshops in schools, townships, and eventually different countries.
He believes dance can help guide children while also supporting busy parents who may not always have enough time to monitor their children closely.
The academy is currently seeking support in the form of training space, uniforms, equipment for physical training, and financial assistance to help sustain the programme and officially register the company.
Sithela said anyone interested in joining the academy must be accompanied by their parents, as the academy values structure, discipline, and family involvement.
