Orange Farm band, Soultainment is set to release its first album co-produced by Dr Thulz at Down Town Studios.
This band comprising of Lucky Ngakane, Malusi Bovana, Vuyo Mankayi, Sifiso Gift, Mlungisi Jange and Phazimane Semelane infuses various African styles and modern trends to produce music for everyone.
Soultainment is inspired by the likes of Vusi Nova, John Legend, Anthony Hamilton, Oliver Mtukudzi, Jimmy Dludlu and Mbongeni Ngema amongst others.
“Listening to our music releases stress, we engage with the audience and take them on a musical spiritual journey. Bringing warmth and healing into people’s lives is what we inspire to do,” the group told Orange Farm News.
The band is involved in various charity works in Orange Farm, they have performed for people with disablity at Vuyiswa Home For the Disabled to give them musical therapy.
Soultainment als hosts live music events such as Sunday Jamming and Shed Live Sessions.
