Messi Academy’s U13 side continued its impressive run in the Orange Farm Local Football Association and LoveLife Tournament after defeating Junior Stars 2-0 in a convincing display of youth football.
The young side controlled much of the encounter, showing discipline, teamwork and composure to secure a deserved victory and book their place in the next stage of the competition. Their latest success adds to the academy’s growing reputation for producing talented players capable of competing at a high level.
Coach Mokete Mosoeu praised his players for their commitment and determination, saying the result was a reward for the effort they have consistently shown on the training ground.
“Our players showed great determination and discipline. We are proud of their performance, but we know there is still more work to be done,” said Mosoeu.
He added that the team remains focused on continuous improvement as they prepare for the challenges that lie ahead in the tournament.
The victory further highlights Messi Academy’s steady progress in grassroots football, with the club continuing to nurture young talent while competing strongly in local competitions.
