Orange Farm Ext 1 continues to produce rising talent, and trap artist Juniour Mafoko, known as Don Poke, is quickly making his mark with a sound rooted in real-life experiences and ambition.
Don Poke’s journey into music began in 2019 while he was still in Grade 9 at Qoqa Secondary School. What started as a passion has steadily evolved into a serious pursuit, with his trap-inspired style reflecting the everyday hustle and pressures faced by young people in his community.
His growing reputation has seen him take to the stage, including a notable performance at the Bak 2 Basic event in Sebokeng Zone 14, hosted by Funeka Mjele. Opportunities like these have helped him connect with audiences and expand his reach.
In March 2026, he dropped his single Sw!Tch, adding momentum to his rising career. Now, he is preparing for the release of his upcoming mixtape, The Cost of Living, expected at the end of May.
Speaking about the project, Don Poke explained that it captures the reality behind chasing success. “It’s about the grind before things fall into place – the challenges, the pressure, and the sacrifices. It’s real life,” he said.
