Clean Touch Administrative Services recently held an STI screening and condom distribution drive at the Orange Farm Ext 9 Phase 3 stop sign, opposite Palm Springs Mall.
Residents accessed free HIV testing and counselling, TB and STI screening, vital checks, mental health support and health education during outreach programme where condoms were also distributed as part of efforts to strengthen prevention and reduce health risks.
The initiative formed part of broader community-based interventions aimed at improving access to primary healthcare and encouraging responsible choices.
One of the organisers, Xolisile Nxumalo, thanked supporting partners for their contribution to the event’s success. She said: “This programme would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our partners. We sincerely thank Old Mutual, Nacosa, the Ext 7 Team, Masechaba Organisation, Jozihlomile, Khomani Men’s Forum, SANCA, Isiqusomama Organisation from Tjovitjo and Orange Farm News Paper for standing with us to make a real difference in our community.”
