Orange Farm United’s U11 side secured a hard fought 2-1 victory over Junior Stars during the Orange Farm Local Football Association (OFLFA), fixtures at the Multipurpose Ground, earning an important three points.
The young side showed determination and composure throughout the match, responding well to the challenge posed by Junior Stars. Orange Farm United remained organised at the back while creating quality attacking opportunities, eventually finding the goals needed to claim a deserved victory.
Both teams played with intensity, but Orange Farm United made the most of their chances in front of goal. Their teamwork, discipline and fighting spirit proved decisive as they held on to secure the win and continue their positive run in the competition.
Coach Sinethemba Zondo applauded the players for their commitment and teamwork, saying their hard work on the training ground is beginning to pay off.
“I am proud of the boys for the character they showed today. They stuck to the game plan, worked hard for each other and deserved the result. We will keep working because there is still room for improvement,” said Zondo.
