What an eventful year it has been for Metro FM DJ, host and artist, Mpumi Mlambo. The incredibly talented disc jockey returns to the small screen as the presenter for the wedding and lifestyle show “Married Our Way’.

The new show is a modern take on the individuality and uniqueness of getting married. Mpumi got to travel across South Africa, documenting how different cultures and regions practice the entire process of marriage, with respect to their diverse tradition and backgrounds.

The show premieres this evening, Thursday, 17 August on SABC 2 at 7.30pm and will air every week, with Mpumi leading the charge. She brings a vibrant and youthful energy to the show, identifying the most diverse of unions in the name of love.

She extends her footprint in the SABC household, with both Metro FM and ‘Married Our Way’ being properties of the SABC.

“I am really excited to be branching out in the SABC network. Hopefully I can find myself doing more work across the board and interacting with fans on a wider level”, she shares.

This follows her holding it down as the host at this year’s Metro FM Music Awards, alongside Somizi. Msakazi, as she is affectionately known, is no stranger to hosting and presenting on TV, having had an incredible stint as the host of Lockdown House Party on Channel O in 2020, where she kept the entire nation entertained and seated every Friday evening.

Talent knows no bounds when it comes to Mpumi Mlambo. She is a force and a voice in the industry, putting her best foot forward every time.

Tune in to SABC 2 tonight at 19:30.
