Orange Farm born radio personality, and television presenter, Mpumi ‘Msakazi’Mlambo’s season is in full swing and we’re here to witness it. On Saturday, 06 May, she will be one of the presenters at the Metro FM Music Awards 2023 (MMA23)’s main event to be held at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga.

Msakazi and Somizi ‘Somgaga’ Mhlongo will be holding it down behind the Black Curtain while Sipho (Alphi) Mkhwanazi and Zanele Potelwa will be bring all the pizzazz of the Black Curtain with radio and television personalities, Lerato Kganyago and Katlego Maboe at the main stage.
“It is a huge honour to be part of such an incredible event that’s well loved and known not only in South Africa, but globally. I can’t wait to celebrate our local talent along with my co-host Somizi. He is a ball of energy, so I know it will be fun. He welcomed me with warm hands making it easy for me to look forward to working with him,” Msakazi told Orange Farm News.
Msakazi will also host the last segment of the awards, dubbed MMA23 Official Love Movement to be held on Sunday, 07 May, at the Nelspruit Rugby Stadium between 12pm and 2am.
Msakazi recently bagged one of the biggest weekend shows on Metro FM – The Encore – an exciting and fresh show where she gets to chat to some of the hottest musicians in South Africa, picking their brains on their music releases, the current climate on culture and their opinions on the industry.
The show airs from 12pm to 3pm every Saturday.
She also hosts The Hustler Fix, every week day from 3am to 5am.
The former Lockdown House Party host is also making a return to TV this month, she will be hosting Married our Way a new wedding show to air on SABC 2.
