Tebello Pitso, also known as DJ Star from Evaton West, a vibrant young DJ hailing from Vaal, is poised to make waves in the entertainment industry.
Reflecting on her journey, DJ Star shared with Orange Farm News: “I became interested in the music industry back in 2017. In 2018, I made the decision to install cross dj and my mother generously bought me a laptop, which allowed me to delve deeper into my passion by installing virtual DJ tutorials. Over the past four years, my path as a DJ has been filled with challenges that have ultimately propelled me to grow. It has been a journey of passion, learning and self-discovery. I predominantly specialize in playing Amapiano and Afrotech music.”
She continued: “I’ve drawn inspiration from fellow DJs, particularly the likes of TXC DJs and Uncle Waffles. Their expertise and dedication have been a guiding light for me. It was through their mentorship that I developed a profound love for Amapiano music.”
