Thirty-two Under-13 teams from Orange Farm and surrounding areas gathered at Exchange Ground on 3 and 4 October 2026 for two days of football, teamwork and community spirit.
Hosted by Ananda Marga and organised by Kutlwano Raolane, Jabulani Banda and Faith Twala, the tournament gave young players an opportunity to showcase their talent while promoting discipline and fair play.

Fortune Talents were crowned champions after defeating Young Future Stars 3–1 in the final. Their journey to the title included a narrow 1–0 semi-final victory over Chilly Boys, while Young Future Stars secured their place in the final with a hard-fought 4–3 win against Dube Warriors.
Both finalists received full soccer kits, trophies and medals. Dada Ratna handed over the champions’ trophy to Fortune Talents.
Fortune Talents’ Lindokuhle Teisi was named Player of the Tournament, while teammate Kamohelo Sebela earned the best goalkeeper award. Kalipa of Young Future Stars claimed the top goalscorer honour. Dada Mantra presented the awards to the individual winners.
According to the organisers, all participating teams demonstrated excellent discipline and respected the strict Under-13 age requirement, with no over-age participation reported.
Speaking on behalf of the organisers, Faith Twala expressed appreciation for everyone who contributed to the event.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ananda Marga for supporting our young players and making this tournament possible. We also thank the coaches for respecting the rules and keeping to time, and the parents and community members for their support. Beyond football, this was about bringing children together, encouraging teamwork and ensuring that no child went home hungry,” said Twala.
Organisers also acknowledged coaches for submitting the required certified documents, helping ensure a fair competition.
All players enjoyed food, fruit and juice after the games, extending the spirit of care beyond the football field.
The tournament formed part of Ananda Marga’s continued efforts to promote sport, healthy living and positive values among young people.
