Women’s football in Orange Farm is set to reach a historic milestone with the launch of the Orange Farm Local Football Association (OFLFA) Ladies Soccer League, which officially kicks off on 10 August 2026.
The new league marks the first time that OFLFA has established a dedicated women’s football competition, creating a platform for local female players to showcase their talent, develop their skills and compete regularly within their community.
The launch is expected to open new opportunities for aspiring footballers while strengthening the growth of women’s football in Orange Farm. Teams from across the local football fraternity will compete in what organisers hope will become a sustainable and highly competitive league.
OFLFA is calling on football supporters, families and residents to attend the matches and rally behind the teams as they make history in the association’s first-ever women’s league. The association also encourages local businesses and stakeholders to partner with OFLFA through sponsorships, which will help grow the league and provide better opportunities for clubs and players.
“The launch of the OFLFA Ladies Soccer League is a proud moment for our association and the Orange Farm community.
