Gauteng MEC for Education, Lebogang Maile, is expected to brief the public on Tuesday, 28 April, on interventions aimed at addressing ongoing challenges within the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE).
The briefing will focus on critical issues affecting schools across the province, including infrastructure backlogs, overcrowding, and bullying.
The media briefing is scheduled to take place at Bovet Primary School in Alexandra at 9pm.
Education authorities are expected to outline measures being implemented to improve learning conditions and ensure safer, more effective school environments.
