Rand Water purify water at their Zuikerbosch and Vereeniging purification works from where water is pumped to their four main booster pumpstations namely Eikenhof, Zwartkopjes,Palmiet and Daleside.
The City of Johannesburg is supplied from the Eikenhof, Zwartkopjes, Palmiet booster and Daleside pumpstations where water is then channelled to several parts of the City.
Rand Water has a planned maintenance which will affect supply from Tuesday, 11 July to Friday, 14 July. This will affect supply in several areas that include Lenasia South, Lenasia, Ennerdale, Orange Farm, Soweto and more locations.
Johannesburg Water has planned to provide alternate supply during the shutdown.
