In Fourways, the HAWKS apprehended a 30-year-old woman, the wife of an alleged cryptocurrency fraudster, on 6 November for charges related to fraud and money laundering.
This arrest is connected to an investigation concerning an investment scheme where the woman’s husband and she purportedly defrauded an investor of R600,000 in 2021.
