A family in Drieziek 3 was left devasted after their home was destroyed in a fire on 20 January between 8pm and 9pm. Fortunately, no one was at home at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.
The fire completely gutted the house and destroyed all household belongings, leaving the family with nothing. They are now appealing to members of the community for assistance, including donations of food, clothing, household items, or financial support to help them rebuild their lives.
Anna Matlatla said:“Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated. The incident shocked and devastated me, and as I am unemployed, it will be very difficult for us to get back on our feet,” she said.
