Drieziek 1’s Joyful Teens Dance Crew, founded last September by Thando Maseko and Ntombizodwa Ndhlovu, is seeking sponsors to continue their inspiring journey.
The crew was created to nurture young talent and provide an alternative to negative influences like drugs, crime and teenage pregnancy. However, the lack of sponsorship, resources and opportunities limits their ability to showcase their skills and pursue dancing as a career.
“Our crew consists of dancers aged 6 to 13, and we specialize in a mix of Nigerian dances and our own creations. We want to take this crew to greater heights, and with sponsorship, we can do that. We plead with anyone who can assist with anything to do so,” said Maseko and Ndhlovu.
The crew has performed at parties, events and within their community, but opportunities depend on the events they are invited to. Any kind of donations, including sponsorships, would be greatly appreciated.
