The ANC comrades from Mpumalanga Province were returning from the party’s manifesto event when they encountered a tragic accident in the early morning hours.
This incident unfolded on the R33 between Vryheid and Paulpietersburg in KZN.
Police and emergency services are currently on-site. Preliminary reports indicate that the bus overturned, resulting in nine fatalities and numerous injuries.
The injured individuals have been transported to local hospitals for treatment.
