On 15 January, a decomposed body of an unidentified man was discovered in a secluded area at Klopperskraal in Poortjie.
Orange Farms SAPS said members were alerted at around 1pm by a passerby who came across the decomposed body of an African male in a densely vegetated field. The deceased was wearing black jeans and a white golf shirt with black stripes.
SAPS Spokesperson Sgt Shaan Motsapi said: “An inquest docket has been opened to investigate the circumstances surrounding this death. We appeal to community members who may have information to assist in identifying the deceased or providing leads for the investigation.”
