Gontse Selaoco launched his jam brand, All Day Jam, in 2019. Years later, his brand is available at Makro’s online store- a significant achievement for this entrepreneur from Orange Farm, who started his business with vegetables from his grandmother’s garden.
Gontse’s journey is one of humble beginnings, hard work and determination. Gontse is now asking for the community’s support by voting for All Day Jam, which has been nominated once again for the Top 16 Youth-Owned Brands Awards (YOBA).
YOBA celebrates and recognizes youth-owned brands that contribute to South Africa’s economy and create jobs in a country with a high youth unemployment rate. The awards highlight the excellence, innovation and hard work of South African youth-owned brands across 16 categories.
The awards ceremony will be held on the evening of 21 June, at the Sandton Convention Centre, preceded by the Festival of Youth-Owned Brands on 20-21 June.
