Social worker, Florah Aphane, from the Gauteng Department of Social Development urgently seeks help tracing the family or relatives of a young boy, Siyabonga Moses September, whose estimated date of birth is noted as 15 September 2023. The child was found abandoned on the very same day alongside Randfontein Road and Poortjie by the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) without any form of documentation.
Hospital staff, moved by the circumstances, bestowed a name upon the child. The parents’ whereabouts remain unknown.
