Shef And The Kitchen music hosted an African Live Music Show and launched the ‘Mama’ single at the Art Studio @5018 in Orange Farm Ext 3 on Saturday, 28 May.
This single composed to celebrate mothers was launched in a music extravaganza that saw various artists entertaining music lovers who came in their numbers.
Some of the artists who performed before Shef And The Kitchen closed the show with a bang are as follows: Moseou; Makhalabhande; Terrence McKay; DJ Syd; DJ Jabby Jabbz; Yvonne M; Soultainment and Mxolisi M.C just to name a few.
Shef And The Kitchen’s Shef Hlophe told Orange Farm News: “The event was a huge success, music lovers came in their numbers and really enjoyed themselves. We started hosting Live Music Shows last year as a build up for the launch of ‘Mama’ – a song dedicated to all mothers for the love, care and support they give us. It also celebrates and honour them. It was great seeing local artists sharing the stage and their love for African music and showcasing their talents.”
