Ntokozo Shamase (17), known to his growing fanbase as Bbe_Ntokzin, and his partner Nhlakanipho “Innocent” Gcwabaza (20), popularly known as Bbe_Inno, are two talented young DJs making bold moves in the Sgidongo music scene.
Their journey began in school, where both participated in music and talent activities. What started as simple fun quickly revealed a deeper passion and when the two eventually met, their shared love for sound and creativity sparked a powerful partnership. From playing around with Virtual DJ at local taverns to commanding real decks, the duo worked tirelessly to polish their skills.
Their dedication paid off as they began drawing attention in their community and beyond. Today, Bbe_Ntokzin and Bbe_Inno are resident DJs at Emnyama Ndawo, Estendeni, and Thoko’s Palace, where their sets have become crowd favourites. Their youthful energy, unique Sgidongo flavour, and strong teamwork continue to set them apart. Although they’re not working on an EP or album yet, the pair is focused on expanding their brand, performing more gigs, and building a loyal following.
Their dream is to take Sgidongo to bigger stages and inspire other young artists to chase their craft fearlessly.
