Setshaba Sotlhe National Business Forum’s president Bangile Mgcina told Orange Farm News: “There are individuals who continue to benefit from our business forum as we empower them on how to market their businesses to broader clients and also link them with the government. The forum’s executives host workshops where we invite different stakeholders that include the Gauteng Provincial Treasury and many more to train our Small, Medium and Micro-Enterprise (SMMEs) members on tenders and more.”

The forum’s general secretary, Grace Malange added: “You will find people fighting over jobs when one can start his/her own. Our forum is accommodative, we enhance all kinds of businesses from construction, tourism, agriculture and farming, NPOs, franchises, wholesalers and supermarkets, distribution, social security, transport and logistics, catering to manufacturing amongst others.”

Based in Ext 7a, Setshaba Sotlhe National Business Forum was established in 2009, it has 5 executives and 395 active members nationally. The forum is known for providing information and education on tendering, linking SMMEs, NPOs and cooperatives to relevant stakeholders that support and enhance their sectors, it also provides developmental programs to its members.
