Learners at Lesedi La Kreste Anglican Primary School received 100 school bags from Roots Orange Farm Eyethu Mall on 20 February, offering vital support to children from disadvantaged families.
The donation was formally acknowledged by the school’s principal, M.E. Mokgatle, who thanked the company for assisting learners in need. The contribution is expected to ease the financial burden on families and ensure pupils are properly equipped for the academic year.
Roots Eyethu Mall Supervisor, Angelina Nhlanhla said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to community upliftment.
“Education is the foundation of a better future. As ROOTS, we believe in supporting our communities and ensuring that learners have the basic tools they need to succeed,” she said.
