An Orange Farm football club has received new playing kit and equipment after winning aQuelle’s “Taste That Scores” digital competition.
Real Farmton Citizens FC, known as The Landlords, was announced as a winner on 10 September. The prize arrived from KwaZulu-Natal on 17 September and included playing kit, a match ball, goalkeeper gloves and a kit bag.
Club chairperson Zolile Bafana Cengimbo welcomed the contribution.
“We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity and for the trust placed in our football club,” said Cengimbo.
Players wore the kit for the first time on 19 September, a day after the squad and technical staff gathered for its unveiling.
The team drew 0–0 with Dream Team Stars Academy and 3–3 with Lumkani Football Club. Tshidiso Masuwa scored twice against Lumkani, while Tshepo Nkuta added the third.
According to the club’s report, the equipment is now being used in its regular football activities, while the matching kit has strengthened team identity and pride.
