Join the Nkosana Ngobese Foundation (NNF) on Sunday, 12 November, for a vibrant and captivating carnival parade featuring Puppets Street Theater and Indigenous Music.
This jubilant procession will close down Orange Farm, commencing from three locations: Mshengu Park Ext 1 and Love Life Y Centre in Ext 6 from 10:00, culminating at the main stage, the Multi-Purpose Sports Grounds opposite Boxer, at 12:00.
Nkosana Ngobese said: “As we eagerly approach this significant day, our dedicated team is diligently preparing to deliver a truly spectacular, colorful event for the community. We’re excited to share this memorable day with you.”
The parade originating from Love Life Y Centre will spotlight youth and contemporary themes, while the Mshengu Park procession will showcase indigenous music and performances. Both groups will convene at the main stage, combining traditional and modern influences.
With the theme “Revival Of Ubuntu,” NNF seeks to unite and promote a positive image of Orange Farm through the arts, fostering meaningful change within the community.
“We aim for this event to leave a lasting impact on people’s lives, empowering local artists and residents from Orange Farm through their involvement in the carnival. We extend a warm invitation to the entire Region G to join in this grand celebration. This family-friendly event is open to all, so come and be part of this exciting gathering! Woza zwakala,” shared Ngobese.
