On 14 March, Kganya Day Care Centre in Drieziek 1, founded by Anna Mofokeng, hosted an inspiring Career Day to introduce ECD learners to different professions.
Dressed as their future selves-police officers, nurses, doctors, firefighters and more-the little ones stepped into their dream careers for the day. Professionals from various fields engaged with the children, sharing insights, playing fun games and giving them a chance to be their heroes.
The event brought together several ECDs, including Dreamers Paradise, Thandobuhle ECD, Inkulisa Day Care and Okuhle Day Care. Representatives from SAPS, EMS, JMPD, Social Development, Regkutlile Primary and the Department of Health also attended, making the day both educational and memorable.
“It was a beautiful, fun and educational day. The little ones enjoyed themselves and looked great. Thank you to everyone who honoured our invitation and made the day special,” said Mofokeng.
