The Orange Farm Local Football Association (OFLFA) is proud to announce the official kickoff of the 2025/2026 Promotional/Super League season this coming weekend.

OFLFA extends heartfelt appreciation to Orange Farm News for continued support and strong partnership. “We are grateful for their commitment and look forward to strengthening this collaboration as we take on the new season,” said Patrick Mokwena, OFLFA chairperson.

As the season begins, the LFA calls on the community, stakeholders and football supporters to join in celebrating the growth of local football. The Association’s mission remains clear: to develop, promote, and empower young talent within Orange Farm.

Over the past two consecutive seasons, OFLFA has proudly promoted teams such as Lakeside Arsenal and Future Academy to the Hollywoodbets Regional League, a testament to the Association’s dedication to football excellence and youth development.

This season, under the new motto “It’s About Time,” the LFA aims to showcase once again that Orange Farm has talent deserving of recognition across the region and beyond. Development workshops will also be hosted to equip teams with knowledge, discipline, and professionalism, both on and off the field.

The Association further appeals to community members, local businesses and sponsors to continue supporting OFLFA’s journey, highlighting that every contribution is vital in achieving its long-term goals.

Looking ahead, as part of Vision 2030, OFLFA is working tirelessly toward seeing an Orange Farm team competing in the ABC Motsepe League – a vision closely linked to the completion of the Chris Hani Stadium, which is set to become a cornerstone of local football excellence.

“This season is about more than football. It’s about proving that Orange Farm’s talent deserves to shine on the biggest stages. Together with our community and partners, we are building a future where local football thrives and dreams become reality,” said Mokwena.

Once again, OFLFA expresses gratitude to everyone who continues to believe in and support Orange Farm football.
