Under the stewardship of sempais Lerato and Itumeleng Ntsabiseng, IKKF Orange Farm fighters recently attended the IKKF Annual Tournament organised by sensei Phillimon Mabati at the Lenasia South Civic Centre Hall on 1 April.
IKKF Orange Farm was represented by eight fighters – Tshepo Sekhopha; Tintswalo Mvula; Kabelo Ntsabiseng; Tshepang Janvik; Moeketsi Mabhena and Sihle, Buhle and Nonhle Samka – who all attended their first tournament.
Three of the fighters, Kabelo Ntsabiseng, Nonhle Samka and Tintswalo Mvula received silver in the boys juniors U20kg and Girls U40kg and U50kg categories respectively.
IKKF Orange Farm invites individuals interested in karate to visit their organisation at the Orange Farm Ext 1 Community Hall between Monday and Thursday from 6 to 7.30pm.
