At just 21 years old, Samkelo ‘Fitness’ Hlongwane is a force to be reckoned with on the field. Renowned as a goal banger, he shows no mercy to opposing backlines or goalkeepers.
Currently leading the charge in the OFLFA Super League with an impressive tally of 7 goals, Samkelo’s prowess is undeniable. Representing Arsenal FC, the top-ranked team in the OFLFA standings, Samkelo holds court in the pivotal position of number 6. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Hazard, Samkelo’s journey with Arsenal began in 2022.
Beyond his exploits on the pitch, the Lakeside native is pursuing a degree in Accounting Science at Unisa, showcasing his commitment to both his athletic and academic pursuits.
