The Gauteng Provincial Government has initiatives aimed at assisting victims and survivors of gender-based violence such as Ikhaya Lethemba

Ikhaya Lethemba Victim Empowerment Centre is a one stop centre for female victims of crime and violence.

Ikhaya Lethemba assists victims of gender-based violence with basic para legal advice, explanation of criminal justice system, court preparation etc.
