To mark the 10th anniversary, Eyethu Orange Farm Mall hosted a grand celebration by giving away a grand prize of a R10 000 shopping gift card through a Spend, Wish, and Win customer competition.
The carefully curated prize was designed to provide one lucky winner with the opportunity to shop at a variety of key retailers within the mall, including clothing stores, self-care outlets, and grocery stores.
The in-centre festivities included the handing of delicious locally sourced cupcakes to customers, adding a sweet touch to the celebration. Customers were also entertained by a local DJ, while the children enjoyed dancing and taking pictures with the much-loved Eliwetu (the mall mascot), enhancing the overall experience and creating a lively atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Eyethu Orange Farm Mall is committed to the upliftment of the Orange Farm community and has implemented a range of CSI programmes that support education, sport for youth and community upliftment.
During the month of October, 1 038 pairs of school shoes were handed over to scholars at Amsai and Laus Deo Primary Schools. Through the Food Security Project, Thuli Home has been supported through ongoing training and the donation of equipment and seedlings to further increase their produce.
50 Garden in a Bucket kits have also been donated to community members to assist with establishing household food gardens.
