On 2 January, Edladleni Pub in Ext 9 started the year with a bang, hosting the Ngeke Bas’Qede Tour to launch Lolli Native’s upcoming project.
The event featured an electrifying lineup of hip-hop artists that kept the crowd buzzing. Among the attendees was renowned artist and actor Phila Madlingozi, adding star power to the evening.
Edladleni Pub continues to be the heartbeat of Orange Farm’s music scene, thanks to its popular Thursday Hip-Hop Nights. Hosted weekly by Kganyapa, also known as Ta Nyeezy, these nights provide a platform for local talent to shine while performing alongside established artists.
Speaking to Orange Farm News, Ta Nyeezy said: “In the first week of January, we hosted Lolli Native as the headliner of the Ngeke Bas’Qede Tour. The vibe was amazing, with fans showing up in numbers to enjoy great music. Our goal is to promote local artists and bring good vibes ekasi.”
