Evaton North’s Dj and radio presenter, Percy Maleke, popularly known as Dj Sky Vaal is on a mission to promote Vaal artists through his 326 Kasi Drive airing on Thetha FM evry Friday between 3 and 6pm.
Listeners get to vote for the weekly top 5 songs by artists from the Vaal including Drieziek and Orange Farm.

“I help artists connect with their fans and provide a platform for them to share their creations and also come to the studio to talk about themselves. Each week, I pick one artist per kasi, they have to send me their best track and push it through requesting their followers to vote for it. The song with most votes wins and stays on the list until it has been voted out by others,” Dj Sky Vaal told Orange Farm News.
Dj Sky Vaal started Djying because of his love for music. He wanted to become a singer/songwriter but as time went on, he developed a love for playing music for people to enjoy. He is an established Deep House and Afrotech Dj capable of setting the right mood on any venue. He has shared the stage with the likes of Dj Christos, Kabza de Small, King Deetoy, DBN Gogo, Masedi and Vinny da Vinci amongst others.
He won the Best Dj Award at the Vaal Music Awards and was nominated for Best Radio Personlity.
