Chaka Leotla, better known by his stage name Blac G, is a 28-year-old Hip-Hop artist from Ext 2 who is rapidly making a name for himself in the music industry.
Blac G has released two significant projects: ‘Gustavo EP’ in 2019 and ‘Legacy Mixtape’ in 2023, both of which have garnered attention across the country. His latest mixtape is performing exceptionally well on Spotify, with over 8,000 streams and counting.
Blac G began rapping at the young age of 10, honing his skills through freestyle sessions at school. His passion for music has never wavered and he continues to push his career independently, without the backing of any record label. His dedication has led him to collaborate with artists from all over South Africa and he has produced two music videos that are currently gaining traction.
Blac G is also working on a new track titled ‘Amaplani’ featuring Cnera Casenover and Specialist, produced by Blue Print Studios. He has performed at various venues, including Maboneng in Johannesburg and Social Link in Pretoria.
