This week we are crushing on Motshidisi Majoro, the founder of Lalaza Ya Matshekgeng, a company that specialises in porridge and fast foods. She is a living proof that grabbing opportunities, taking risks and putting fear aside pays off.
In 2021, she resigned from her job to start selling modogo (brown porridge) at the Eyethu Mall’s Taxi Rank. The success of her porridge business led her to open a food stall selling chicken, liver and steak plates.
Majoro told Orange Farm News that resigning from her job and starting her business was the best decision she has ever made and does not have any regrets.
