The stage is set for one of the most anticipated beauty pageants in the region-Miss Orange Vaal Township 2025. Orange Farm and surrounding area models will go head-to-head with Vaal models in a battle for the crown.
Presented by Deep South Jozi (Pty) Ltd Modeling Agency, the event will take place on 3 May at Orange Farm Community Hall, Ext 2. The competition aims to build a solid foundation for aspiring models, offering them a platform to showcase their talent and grow in the industry. Models from surrounding areas have been invited to be part of this exciting journey.
Refilwe Precious Maahlamela from Fine Town describes herself as a helpful, trustworthy and passionate model. Many admire her for her transparency and reliability as a role model. She believes that Orange Farm models are strong and well-established, ready to compete at any level. She is not only passionate about modeling but also dreams of opening a rehabilitation centre for drug users and alcoholics. Her advice to aspiring models: “Modeling speaks for itself-believe in yourself, develop your skills and be a positive influencer.”
Onjengaye Bolitina from Drieziek 1, Orange Farm, has always had a passion for fashion, cameras and modeling.
Andile Bexter, a Vaal-based modeling organizer and Information Science professional, believes this event is a game-changer for local models. “This is an opportunity for Vaal models to gain exposure, build confidence and develop their skills. They have incredible talent and can compete at the highest level. Do not be afraid to shine. Believe in yourself and let’s make Vaal proud,” he said.
Maqhawe Madela, founder of Deep South Jozi (Pty) Ltd and the mastermind behind Miss Orange Vaal Township, has been working tirelessly to make this event a reality. “The goal is to unite communities, develop local modeling talent and expose models to bigger opportunities,” he explains.
This competition is more than just a pageant-it’s a movement to empower young models and put Orange Farm and Vaal on the map!
