After an intense series of showdowns, Arsenal has been crowned champions of the 2023/2024 OFLFA Super League. They topped the season with 55 points, followed by Black Vultures with 52 points and AZ Ramblers in third place with 47 points. TLC finished in 12th place with only 4 points.
The battle for the league title was fierce, with Arsenal and Black Vultures chasing each other since the start of the season. However, Arsenal overcame their rivals and clinched the league, securing their place to represent Orange Farm at the SAFA Regional League.
OFLFA chairperson, Mokwena, expressed his gratitude to all participants, he told Orange Farm News: “The league has concluded; congratulations to Arsenal. As champions, they will represent us in the SAFA Regional League. We thank all the teams and coaches for their sportsmanship and urge them to continue with the same enthusiasm next season. The Juniors League is still ongoing, so come out in numbers to support the young ones. We invite sponsors and partners to join us next season to make the OFLFA Super League the premier league, nurturing our talent and combating social ills like crime, drugs and alcohol abuse among our youth.”
