As winter bites harder, Ananda Marga, a spiritual and humanitarian organisation, extended a warm hand to the elderly community of Orange Farm by donating 184 blankets to senior citizens gathered at Amsai Primary School. The gesture is part of the organisation’s broader mission to uplift vulnerable communities through practical support, compassion and spiritual service.
Known for their holistic outreach programmes, Ananda Marga continues to be a beacon of hope in Orange Farm – blending yoga, wellness education and food support with acts of generosity. Many of the recipients expressed heartfelt gratitude, with some saying the blankets would bring much-needed relief during the cold nights.
“This kind gesture reminds us that we are not forgotten,” shared one elder emotionally.
