Ext 8’s dynamic twin rap duo, Sandile and Andile Zondo, better known as AmaGoduka, are making waves in the music scene. The talented pair is set to release a deluxe version of ‘iThemba LamaVukane’ which originally dropped in October last year.
Fans can also look forward to a brand – new EP later this year, followed by an exciting tour. AmaGoduka encourages their followers to stay tuned for updates. The duo’s freestyle music video is already creating buzz and can be viewed on the Orange Farm News Facebook page. This freestyle is part of the KZN Lockdown Cypher series, an initiative launched during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic by KZN hip-hop heavyweight Zakwe and Soweto’s Kasi rap maestro, Speeka.
The series united rappers from Gauteng and KZN, showcasing their lyrical prowess in a friendly competition. AmaGoduka joined the movement after receiving a call from Zakwe and recorded their segment, which was released in early 2021. The freestyle, showcasing their undeniable talent and sharp lyricism, is available on YouTube and can also be found on Zakwe’s social media platforms across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
AmaGoduka continues to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with in South Africa’s hip – hop landscape, and their journey is only just beginning.
