Shef and The Kitchen are set to release their new single, ‘Alili,’ next month, following a remarkable performance at the Back To The City Festival last month.
Timed perfectly for the December wedding season, ‘Alili’ is a heartfelt wedding song. Comprising talented members such as Siphiwe “Shef” Hlophe, Sinethemba “ZamaDela” Mhlanganiso, Sifiso “Jazzman SA” Mabizela, Baphethuxolo “Phethi” Sibisi and Phazimane “Mane” Samela, the band consistently delivers exceptional performances.
Shef reflected on their experience at the festival, expressing pride in representing Orange Farm. Notably, this wasn’t their first appearance at the festival; they also showcased their talent in 2016 and 2017, securing a remarkable 2nd place in The Battle of The Bands in 2017.
In August, the band successfully organized the Orange Farm Live Music Festival 2023, a massive event that united music enthusiasts.
