The weekend matches saw Az Ramblers secure a 2-0 win by walkover against TLC, while Blue Whales defeated Young Tigers 2-0. In another thrilling contest, Chokis Juniors Stars played to a 2-2 draw with Tsekeleke FC. Teams really brought their A-game, delivering exciting goals and high-quality football.
OFLFA chairperson, Patrick Mokwena, expressed his excitement about the new season: “The new season has started well and we are looking forward to an exciting campaign. Thank you to the community for coming out in their numbers to welcome the league back. We promise to deliver quality football. I also urge sponsors and partners to join us in building the league into a competitive platform that takes our boys off the streets and develops top-class players who can represent us globally.”
With new talent emerging and established teams showing their strength, the 2025 OFLFA season is shaping up to be one fans won’t want to miss.
