In the early hours of Monday, 13 May, police were called to Stretford Clinic in Ext 2, upon arrival, they discovered a male victim who had tragically lost his life to a fatal stab wound.
Reports indicate that the victim had been engaged in a heated dispute with his girlfriend, purportedly stemming from a disagreement over a cellphone. Regrettably, the altercation escalated, resulting in the girlfriend inflicting a fatal stab wound to his upper body. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
Orange Farm SAPS communication officer, Sgt Shaan Motsapi, told Orange Farm News: “Following a thorough investigation, police apprehended the girlfriend as the prime suspect in her boyfriend’s murder. She is slated to face charges of murder in the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court soon.”
